How long have you been recruiting for the Construction Industry?
I first become a Consultant in January 2021.
Has this been locally or further afield?
I have worked closely with leading building developers and main contractors within London, and clients who build within the Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, and Cambridgeshire regions.
For what types of organisations have you recruited candidates?
A range of organisations including five-star housebuilders, along with social housing companies who work on multiphase sites across the UK. We supply individuals such as Finishing Managers, Site Managers, and Project Managers. Also, I have sourced for local businesses supplying Blue Collar Operators.
What do you think is a key skill or knowledge required to recruit for the Construction Sector successfully?
You must build a trusting relationship with your client to ensure you match the correct individual for their needs. Trust is built with clients by each consultant ensuring they are confident that the applicant they put forward has the correct skill set and interests for the job in hand.
