Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for Activities Co-ordinators on behalf of our client based in Colchester to work with adults with Learning Disabilities, Challenging behaviours, and various complex needs.

The company are an established care provider in Colchester who supports adults over the age of 18 with learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, and any other additional needs.

Job Role

  • Supporting individuals within a Supported Living setting.
  • Working 39 hours per week, shifts are 07:00 to 22:00 and can be split into two such as 07:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00 and occasional weekends will be required. 
  • Be responsible for managing and organizing activities within the home as well as the residents care. 
  • Interact with service users and planning fun activities such as days out to the Zoo, beach days out and organising fun activities within the home. 
  • No experience is required, full training will be provided. 

Requirements

  • Applicants are required to have previous experience providing Care/Support with Learning Disabilities or willing to learn.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Desirable) or wanting to achieve this
  • Care Certificate, the client can help you achieve this
  • Be compassionate and have a caring nature
  • Possess good communication skills
