Job Advert – Assembly & Manufacturing Technician

Location: Rural Colchester 

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of precision engineering machinery, who are looking for a skilled Assembly & Manufacturing Technician to join their busy workshop team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual with a passion for building high-quality machinery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assemble and construct cutting-edge machinery with precision and attention to detail

  • Fit mechanical and potentially electrical components according to technical drawings and specifications

  • Operate and utilise a variety of engineering tools and equipment safely and effectively

  • Contribute to the overall build process from sub-assembly to final machine completion

  • Work collaboratively with the experienced team to ensure top-quality output

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering workshop environment

  • Strong knowledge of engineering tools and equipment

  • Skilled in fitting parts and building complex machinery accurately

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your work

  • A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the workshop atmosphere

Role Details:

  • Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm

  • Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience
