Job Advert – Assembly & Manufacturing Technician
Location: Rural Colchester
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of precision engineering machinery, who are looking for a skilled Assembly & Manufacturing Technician to join their busy workshop team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on individual with a passion for building high-quality machinery.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Assemble and construct cutting-edge machinery with precision and attention to detail
Fit mechanical and potentially electrical components according to technical drawings and specifications
Operate and utilise a variety of engineering tools and equipment safely and effectively
Contribute to the overall build process from sub-assembly to final machine completion
Work collaboratively with the experienced team to ensure top-quality output
Who We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering workshop environment
Strong knowledge of engineering tools and equipment
Skilled in fitting parts and building complex machinery accurately
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your work
A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the workshop atmosphere
Role Details:
Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
Salary negotiable depending on skills and experience
