We are looking for an Assembly Operative to start ASAP for a manufacturing company based in Colchester, Essex

You will be working within a small team working on small components creating items ready for sale.

You will receive full training for this job however previous assembly experience would be an advantage.

Duties include:

• Work to a job list, though jobs and demand vary from day to day as set by the department supervisor
• Follow written work instructions
• Follow Health and safety procedures use of suits, gloves, respirators, safety shoes, local extraction
• We require a flexible approach to work, in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is essential
• Observe high level of cleanliness
• Handling small components
• Good physically health and eyesight. Moving finished items
• Packing finished goods
• On the job training will be given

The ideal candidate must have a flexible approach and must be happy working in a fast-paced production environment.

Anyone who has worked within manufacturing in an assembly-based or similar role would be of interest.

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 and Friday 08:30 – 16:30

This is a permanent, full time position subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
