Top Job are currently seeking an Assistant Estimator to work for a high-end interior fit out business located a short walk from London Liverpool Street’s station.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is good with numbers and has a high attention to detail. This could be an entry level role for someone who has industry knowledge or a new venture for a qualified assistant estimator to join. All applicants will need to be proficient in excel and Microsoft office packages.

You will be situated within the Commercial team, pricing around 40 high end office projects per month alongside their head estimator (full training will be provided)

Responsibilities:

• Read drawings and understand details
• Updating Project values
• Take off and schedules
• Reviewing data and documents like analysis reports, purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Creating databases
• Prepare updates and project estimates

Key Skills Required:

• Excel
• Maths (GCSE/ A Level)
• Commercial knowledge
• Background in construction beneficial
• Relevant degree

Salary: £35k+
