With a strong presence in the local construction sector and a track record of delivering quality residential and commercial projects, they are now seeking a confident and driven Business Development Manager to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will be the face of the company—attending networking events, meeting potential clients, and driving new business opportunities across various sectors.
Proactively represent the business at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions
Identify and pursue new leads and opportunities to grow the client base
Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Collaborate with the leadership team to support sales strategies and marketing initiatives
Assist with client proposals and support the bidding/tendering process when needed
Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s services and unique selling points
A confident communicator with a natural flair for relationship-building
Previous experience in sales, business development, or client engagement (any industry)
Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
Previous experience in the construction or property sectors is beneficial but not essential
Full UK driving licence preferred
Based in or within a commutable distance of Colchester
