Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for Day and Night Care Assistants for our client based on the outskirts of Cheltenham.

Our client is an established company with strong knowledge of Dementia Care and provides 24/7 care to Residents.

Job role

• Residential Care Days/Nights – £9.80 -£11.20
• Care Assistants will ensure that the personal needs of elderly residents are met in a way that respects their dignity, and choice and promotes independence.
• Have a kind caring nature to give the residents a positive and happy life within their home.
• Provide the best possible care environment by promoting a warm, friendly and homely atmosphere, and help towards the smooth day-to-day running of the home.
• Assist residents who need help with dressing, undressing, bathing and toileting.
• Promote mental and physical activities.

Requirements

• Applicants are not required to have any care experience but are willing to learn and undertake training
• Hold a Full UK Driving License, due to the location of the home
• Sensitive to the needs of others and the sick and infirm
• Active team player but also able to work on their own initiative
• A good communicator
