Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe, caring a nurturing environment.
Lead, manage and support a team of care staff, providing guidance, training and development opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and best practice guidelines, including Ofsted Standards
Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child, promoting their physical, emotional and social development.
Manage budgets, resources and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient running of the home.
Build string relationships with the children, families, external agencies and stakeholders to support the well-being and development of children.
Respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and sensitivity ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and staff
Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial role within a Children's Residential setting
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management of Residential Childcare
At least 5 years experience in a role relevant to Residential Childcare
A full UK driving licence
Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and best practice
