Top Job Recruitment are currently seeking a CNC Operator for a leading Mnaufacturer in Clacton-on-sea.

Details of role: In this position you will be involved in various tasks. It will be necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand. Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled. Reporting to the Machine Shop Team Leader as well as the Programmer/Setters, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) being responsible for specific parts, operating of CNC machines and general factory duties.

Duties:

  • Operates machines within a Production Cell under the instruction of the Setter/Programmer assigned to that Cell (or the Floating setter if appropriate).
  • Loads machines within the Cell and maintains the production rate and run times appropriate for the item under manufacture.
  • By the utilisation of appropriate equipment operates SPC for machines within the Cell to which he has been assigned. Reports the results to the Cell Setter/Programmer if any adjustment of machines or tooling be necessary.
  • Responsible for the quality of components produced by any machine in his care.
  • Carries out routine cleaning of machines in his care.

Salary: £ Neg

Hours: Full time, 40hr per week
