Top Job Recruitment are seeking a skilled CNC Setter for a manufacturing client in Clacton-on-Sea.

This role will be  within the 5 Axis milling department using a variety of mills and working as part of a team to maximise output and efficiency throughout.

Responsibilities:

• Assigned to a machine to set in a safe and efficient manor
• Achieve and uphold the required output from the machines
• Be responsible for in-process checks to Blue Print using different equipment and machines
• Carry out routine maintenance and house keeping duties
• Clean and deburr parts to customer’s needs
• Boxing and packaging of components
• Carry out any additional duties requested of you

Knowledge Required:

• Setting CNC vertical milling machines critical
• Knowledge of Heidenhain controllers is desirable
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with gauges and inspection equipment
• Experience of using various work holding solutions, tool holding methods and cutting tolls

This position will require you to have knowledge within engineering or production/ manufacturing. Previous CNC experience would be ideal but not essential.

Mon to Fri 8am-4.30pm

£12.60-£16.60 per hour.
