Top Job Recruitment are looking for a  Coil Technician for a company based in Clacton – on – sea.

The company have been manufacturing for 50 years and pride themselves on supplying over 1000 different parts worldwide.

As the Coil Technician your role be to oversee the day to day running of coil winding machines and associated machinery, to undertake coil quality checks and adjusting machines programs if necessary and making sure there are enough coils in stock.

Coil Technician Job Role:

  • To oversea the day to day running of coil winding machines and associated machinery.
  • Overseeing coil quality checks.
  • Working from the build list and making sure there are enough coils in stock.
  • Performing preventative and reactive maintenance to keep winding machines running smoothly (bearings, belts runners)
  • Reacting to any possible production issues regarding coil quality bought up by the operators or production supervisors.
  • Fulfilling any coil orders
  • Learning the cause of coil and tool damage and finding was to prevent this.
  • Keeping machine tooling in good condition and replacing parts when necessary.
  • Liaising with tool suppliers for repairs & new tooling orders.
  • Looking at any possible improvements/innovations to the winding process.
  • Develop new ideas and answer work related problems.

Coil Technician Experince Needed;

  • Must be Computer literate.
  • Good concentration.
  • Good eyesight and an eye for detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to problem solve by identifying problems with machines, evaluating options and implementing solutions.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including air designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
  • This role requires someone with creativity and alternative thinking.
