This role involves supporting both the estimating and commercial teams, handling client enquiries, and managing the commercial aspects of active projects.
The Role:
As an Estimator and Commercial Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
. Building and maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
. Pricing new client enquiries accurately
. Conducting site visits as needed
. Requesting and analyzing quotes from subcontractors and suppliers
. Performing detailed take-offs from drawings
. Interpreting tender documentation effectively
. Marking up drawings for project clarity
. Managing change orders and pricing variations
. Conducting thorough cost analysis
. Overseeing subcontractor procurement
. Collaborating closely with the Project and Site Manager on each project
