Permanent Full-Time Position

Driving Licence Essential

£30,000 per annum | Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

We are recruiting a Construction Administrator to join a growing and successful scaffolding company based in Brentwood.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with previous administration experience within the construction sector, ideally scaffolding. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring smooth communication between clients, site teams, and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries
  • Coordinating and scheduling works with clients and site teams
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
  • Processing and managing administrative documentation
  • Supporting the management team with day-to-day office duties
  • Preparing spreadsheets, reports, and job-related documentation
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Assisting with the planning and coordination of projects
  • Managing emails and responding to enquiries in a professional manner
  • General office administration and ad hoc duties as required

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous administration experience within the construction industry
  • Scaffolding industry experience highly desirable
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Confidence when speaking on the telephone and dealing with customers
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a busy environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and proactive approach to work
  • Full UK Driving Licence
