Credit Controller – Urgent Start
Location: Colchester
Contract: 1-3 months (could be extended)
Rate: £15.38 per hour
Start Date: Thursday 4th or Friday 5th

Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy Finance team on a short-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain AR ledgers accurately
  • Support the management accountant
  • Manage daily credit control processes and maximise debt collection
  • Respond to customer queries via finance inbox
  • Weekly invoicing and credit management
  • Prepare customer statements and reconciliations
  • Assist with Accounts Payable during holiday/absence periods
  • Follow company Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Excellent IT skills including Excel
  • Experience with accounting packages
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organised and able to work under pressure

This is an urgent role – immediate start required.
