Top Job Recruitment are looking for a  Customer Service Advisor for a Builder’s Merchants based in the outskirts of Colchester. As an Customer Service Advisor you will help run the warehouse efficiently and according to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include supporting all supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation. Ultimately, you will ensure our customers receive the right orders on time. If you have worked for a Builders Merchant or Contractor before- we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Plan shipments based on product availability and customer requests
  • Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
  • Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading)
  • Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery
  • Schedule shifts for our drivers and warehouse staff
  • Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
  • Oversee the levels of our warehouse stock and place orders as needed
  • Provide information to customers about the status of their orders

Requirements

  • Work experience as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role
  • Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Good communication skills

Pay Rate: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm (office based)
