Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Customer Service Manager for a company based in Witham.

The company is fast growing, has exciting prospects, and have recently moved to brand new premises in Witham. They are excited to offer a great opportunity for a dynamic, customer focused individual to take over our customer service team as a Custoemr Service Manager.

As a Customer Service Manager you will handle and manage escalated customer feedback, ensuring the delivery of our complaint handling procedures acting as the first line of contact for customer queries. It will be essential to lead the customers experience, throughout the business, working to have the right resources, systems and processes in place to support exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will need to provide insights of headline issues and topics, selling platform compliances and areas for review/improvement. This is while working closely with the commercial manager to interpret and analyse customer feedback.

This will be whilst continually seeking opportunities through insight to improve our customer feedback KPI’s. The management and development of internal KPI’s. Our client is looking for a new member of the team to manage customer services and to drive the department forward.


Customer Service Manager Job Role

· Degree in Business Administration or similar

· Candidates should have a minimum 3+ years customer service management experience.

· Report management

· Be highly self-motivated and well organised

· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

· Knowledge of ‘eDesk’ and/or other customer support systems, would be an advantage

· To provide regular insights of headline issues and topics

· Ecommerce experience would be advantageous

· Experience with Microsoft Office applications

· High attention to detail and critical thinking skills

· Be able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively

· Previous experience within the Distribution/Retail sector

· A friendly, professional and positive demeanour

· Administrative support across the business where required


Customer Service Manager Sought after but not essential skills

· Bilingual customer support

· Magento 2 Experience

· Selling marketplace experience – eBay, ETSY, Onbuy and others.

· Amazon selling experience including the understanding of ‘Amazon Metrics’ and ‘Amazon account health dashboards’
