Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for a Deputy Children’s Home Manager specialising with Emotional Behavioral Difficulties and Challenging Behaviours based in Hitchin. 

Our client is an established 2 bed home and requires someone with strong knowledge with Young People ages between 11- 17 years. 

They will also need to be confident at running a residential setting to Ofsted regulations and Maintain a Good to Outstanding rating consistently.

Job role

• Registered Manager with Ofsted for a Young Peoples Residential Home. 
• Development & performance management
• Maintaining staff training and Ofsted requirements
• Working with the local authorities for placing service users into their service appropriately
• Overall running of the home including budgeting and service user satisfaction

Requirements

• Experience as a Deputy or Senior/ Team Leader of a Young Peoples Service ( EBD) looking to step into management
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted Regulations
• Level 3 or 5 Qualification in Health & Social Care / Leadership & Management (Children & Young People)
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
