Top Job are on the look out for a Deputy Manager to support the opening of a BRAND NEW CHILDRENS HOME in Stanford-Le-Hope.

As the Deputy Manager, you job role will include;

  • To support the Registered Care Manager in ensuring compliance with the company Policy and Procedures and meeting all OFSTED regulations.
  • Recruiting, training and supporting a new staff team
  • Supporting the assessment and transition of children into the service
  • To ensure that the home provides an environment that is safe and sensitive to the needs of the young people being looked after.
  • To ensure that all staff are familiar with and follow Local Authority Child Protection Procedures
  • To safeguard and promote the welfare and development of the young people.
  • To plan, manage and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged throughout the day.
  • To be flexible in hours of work in order to meet tasks required.

What we are looking for in you:

  • You must hold a Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or above
  • You must have at least 2 years experience within Residential Childcare
  • You must be 22 years old or above
  • You must have a valid full UK Driving Licence
  • You must have a strong knowledge of Ofsted Regulations
