Top Job Recruitment are excited to be working alongside a reputable and industry renowned company providing Childrens's Home Service to recruit a Deputy Manager

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to be responsible for effective day to day running of this residential home.

Job Role

  • To support the Registered Care Manager in ensuring compliance with the company Policy and Procedures and meeting all OFSTED regulations.
  • To ensure that the home provides an environment that is safe and sensitive to the needs of the young people being looked after.
  • To ensure that all staff are familiar with and follow Local Authority Child Protection Procedures
  • To safeguard and promote the welfare and development of the young people.
  • To plan, manage and lead shifts ensuring children are kept safe and engaged throughout the day.
  • To be flexible in hours of work in order to meet tasks required.


Skills Required

  • Candidates must have their NVQ Level 3 Residential Childcare
  • They must also have at least 2 years experiences within Residential Childcare and working alongside young people.
  • Be 22 years old or above
  • Have a valid drivng licence
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted Regulations.
