We are looking for a Deputy Manager to work within a 4 bed Childrens home in Leiston

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Registered Manager to continue the delivery of exceptional care
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive culture within the service
  • Supporting the day to day running of the service and acting up to management level in the Registered Managers absence when necessary
  • Ensure that the home is working in accordance with all company and local authority policies and procedures along with regulatory body guidance and legislation
  • Work in line with the young peoples care plans as well as ensuring that the team are kept up to date with changes and recommendations from the wider MDT
  • Support the mentoring, supervision and guidance of the staff team

What we are looking for:

  • You must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • You must have at least Level 3 qualification in Residential Child care
  • You must strong background in leading teams within Children's Residential Services
  • You must have excellent people management and organisational skills
  • You must experience in supporting Ofsted compliance and managing, evaluating and monitoring information
