Top Job Recruitment is currently recruiting Deputy Managers to work in a children’s home in Kent.
Our client specialises in supporting children with a range of emotional, social and educational needs.
Roles and Responsibilities-
Your main role will be to report to the registered manager and support in running the home.
· Provide the young people with a warm and nurturing environment.
· Provide the young people with a home where they can grow and develop.
· Help the young people deal with different emotions such as loss, rejection and neglect.
· Provide a secure and safe environment for the children.
· Write the staff rota.
· Supervisions of team leaders and support workers.
· Be a role model in the home.
Qualifications and Knowledge-
· Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
· Work towards Level 5 in leadership and management.
· Up to date knowledge of childcare in residential setting.
· Knowledge of The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 & Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations including the Quality Standards.
