I am currently recruiting for a school in Colchester who are looking for a Digital Marketer to join their team. The role can be carried out via working from home if the candidate would prefer.
Salary: Actual salary - £16,299 (FTE £18,198) – 37 hrs – Monday to Friday – 41 weeks per year
We are looking for:
A creative professional individual who is proactive, calm under pressure and has a good knowledge of design programmes for digital marketing and websites. Good written English, attention to detail, discretion and flexibility are also essential. You will communicate effectively with a range of colleagues within education, across the schools in NE Essex, South Suffolk and beyond.
An enthusiastic person who has the drive and ambition to support our Teaching School Hub and Teacher Training in recruitment to courses ensuring a clear communication and in house branding style. This role will require both independent working and the ability to be a team player. Additionally, the ability to keep up with latest technology and developments in marketing and public relations strategy.
Digital Marketing ? Updating and maintaining of websites including communicating with internal and external stakeholders to make relevant updates ? Work with the directors and PA to run email-marketing campaigns. ? Organising and attending meetings with external stakeholders. ? Learn new programmes to support publishing and marketing material. ? In house designs. ? Creating flyers/leaflets for the school to advertise programmes, upcoming training events/workshops and/or recruitment events ? Use of book creator to produce online brochures ? Editing video recordings of training events for the school and uploading these to the website and social media platforms ? Collating information and developing a fortnightly newsletter for the school ? Planning and launching campaigns ahead of training programmes offered ? Preparing and formatting presentations for the schools recruitment events ? Develop and implement public relations strategy and communications
Events ? Assisting with the set up of events and training events ? Supporting the set up of recruitment events. ? Attending local training events to take photos and videos for marketing purposes.
Social Media ? Overseeing the social media presence of the school on all platforms. (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) maintain any public profiles for the organisation(s) ? Regular posting of information regarding current programme and forthcoming recruitment events. ? Monitoring the performance of social media output ? Liaison with marketing team on the promotion of posts via paid opportunities on various social media platforms.
