Top Job Recruitment is looking for a Part-Time Documentation Control Administrator to join a Colchester based company for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The company provide equipment, technology, and systems the produce the purest water and treat the most challenging wastewater in the industry

If you have experience working in an administrative role in production, manufacturing or design environment then this could be the job for you.

Job Role: 

  • Organise and prioritise work daily with the flexibility to accommodate a change in requirements as required by the Document Controller / Project Manager and the current workload.
  • Download General Communication correspondence (GC’s) from the EDF CEMAR system, log them into SharePoint and distribute to the relative Engineer.
  • Logging document submissions to the Client into SharePoint.
  • Logging document returns from the Client into SharePoint.
  • Logging incoming & outgoing Supplier documentation into SharePoint.
  • Compilation of document front sheets, conversion into PDF format and circulation for internal signatures.  
  • Assist the Document Controller with maintaining the filing system and computer databases appropriate to the department/project.
  • Assist with any special assignments or projects as requested/required.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.
  • Follow document department procedures to ensure all documentation is filed on SharePoint
  • Assist the Document Controller with document submissions/receipts.  
  • As required, and under advice, assist with the timely submission of all invoices and debt collection related documents including bank guarantee submissions and collections.
  • Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of information for meetings e.g. contract cost review, handover, closeout etc.
  • Ability to manage own time.

Experience Needed:

  • Experience of Office computer systems including SharePoint, Primavera Reader, Word and Excel, Syteline, Outlook, Nuance Power PDF and PDF writer.  
  • AutoCAD experience would be advantageous.
  • Ability to understand and apply basic mathematical concepts.   
  • Must possess the ability to work on several tasks at one time and to establish priorities with accuracy and dependability.
  • Ability to understand and both read, write and converse in English and at an advanced level.
  • May be required to effectively resolve complaints and respond to sensitive enquiries from suppliers.
