My client based in Clacton are currently seeking an Electronic Productions Technician to join their expanding team due to continued expansion of the company.

Salary : £23,000 per annum

Duties:

• Build and fault find electronic assemblies for use in a varied range of products.

• Maintain records, build documentation, and test results in accordance with ISO 9001 and internal procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Soldering components both conventional and surface mount.
• Preparation of cable assemblies
• Assembly, programming, and test of complex electronic systems.
• Production of build documentation, and maintenance of departmental systems.

Skills required:

• Minimum BTEC level 3 / A Levels in an electrical/electronic engineering discipline, or experience in a similar role.
• Experienced in soldering both conventional and SMT components.
• Ability to fault find down to component level on complex systems.
• Good time management skills.
• An understanding of production based MRP systems
• Team and people skills.
• A willingness to travel abroad to our other sites when required (Typically 1-2 times a year).
