Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced English teacher to work part-time in a small specialist therapeutic school based in Ipswich.

Roles and Responsibilities-

• Work as part of a team to provide an outstanding learning environment for students.
• Create and deliver engaging lessons to students in English.
• To regularly assess and review pupils and give feedback to parents/carers.
• Remain up to date with national trends in education.
• Follow GDPR requirements in line with the school’s policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for making sure students are safe and bringing up any safeguarding concerns with the Headteacher and relevant staff throughout the school.
• Promote equality and diversity within the school.

Requirements-

• Previous experience working with students who may have special educational needs. (Desirable)  
• Knowledge of the subject of English. (Essential)
• Teaching degree (QTS) (Essential)
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
