Top Job Recruitment are working alongside an established contractor, assisting them with the recruitment of an Estimator to join their dynamic team in Colchester. As a Contractor specializing in Hospitality, Healthcare, and Commercial projects within the range of £150k to £5 million, they are committed to delivering high-quality construction solutions to their clients. The Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful financial management of projects, optimizing costs, and maintaining profitability while upholding quality standards and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for new projects in the Hospitality, Healthcare, schools, and Commercial sectors.

Analyse project specifications and drawings to accurately determine project costs, identifying potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services without compromising quality.

Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with project budgets and timelines.

Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial progress throughout the project lifecycle, providing timely reports and recommendations to stakeholders.

Salary:

The salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
