Location: Hybrid (UK-based – Office, Home & Client Sites)
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 DOE + Performance Bonus
Job Type: Full-time
If you have a background in finance or accounting and are looking to move into a specialist consulting role, this could be the perfect next step.
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing consultancy that specialises in finance systems and business transformation. You'll combine your accounting knowledge with a client-facing role, working on a variety of implementation projects while learning directly from an experienced Director.
No previous ERP consulting experience is required – full training will be provided.
This isn't your typical finance position.
Instead of focusing solely on month-end reporting and routine accounting tasks, you'll become a trusted consultant, helping businesses improve their finance systems and processes.
Working alongside experienced consultants, you'll learn how to deliver implementation projects from initial discovery through to go-live, developing specialist skills that are highly sought after and offer excellent long-term career prospects.
Projects typically run for 6-9 months, giving you the opportunity to build lasting client relationships and see the full implementation lifecycle.
This is a project-focused, client-facing role with no sales or business development responsibilities. You'll take ownership of existing client projects, supporting them throughout implementation and beyond.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a finance background who is looking for a more varied, client-facing career.
You'll ideally have experience in one of the following:
Management Accountant
Systems Accountant
Finance Analyst
Assistant Finance Manager
Financial Accountant
Finance Business Partner
Or a similar finance role with strong systems exposure
You'll also have:
A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Experience with month-end and year-end reporting
Strong Excel and analytical skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
An interest in systems, technology and process improvement
Previous ERP consulting experience is beneficial but not essential.
You'll receive structured training and ongoing mentoring from day one, working closely with experienced consultants and senior leadership.
As your confidence grows, you'll gradually take ownership of your own client projects, with a clear progression path into a fully-fledged ERP Consultant.
For your first 3-6 months, you'll be office-based to ensure you receive the hands-on training and support needed to succeed.
Following your training, you'll move to a flexible hybrid arrangement, typically 1-2 days per week in the office, with the remainder split between home working and client visits.
If you prefer to be office-based full-time, this can also be accommodated.

Performance-related bonus
28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Employer pension contribution
