Our client based on the outskirts of Witham are looking for goods in administrator

 Main Purpose of the job:

Responsibility for liaising with customers, clients and transport companies to ensure efficient booking of vehicles into store for offloading. Responsible for commodities bookings and landing of commodities into store. Obtain and communicate, internally and externally, all necessary information to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met. Ensuring correct documentation is on file and act accordingly as set out in the company’s procedures.

General Duties:

  • Ensure correct documentation is on file;
  • Customer Service – Internal / External phone calls;
  • IT – Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word as well as required WMS’s. Operational Tasks:
  • Booking in goods.
  • Landing Commodities in-store in line with external regulators.
  • Update customer's stock systems.
  • Assist Customer services emails.
  • Filing and scanning.
  • Provide cover to the Imports, Outgoing and Transport team when needed.
  • Stock and location control.
  • Holiday and absence cover with the office team where necessary.

About you:

  • Educated to A level standard desired but not essential GCSE are enough.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft outlook package
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to work under occasional pressure and always to deadlines.
  • Able to work with other employees at all level in a fast pace and sometimes noisy environment, work both independently and under instruction.
  • Have a positive outlook.

Salary is £22k per annum,
