Job Title: Grain Store Operator
Responsible To: Grain Manager

Overall Purpose of the Job
To clean, grade, store and out load grain and other cereals. Ensuring product movement takes 
place in a safe and effective manner. Maintaining plant machinery and dealing with breakdowns. 
This role involves extended hours through the harvest (beginning of July to the end of August).

Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Grain grading and cleaning
• Monitoring product intake
• Implementing pre harvest maintenance program
• Loading bulker lorries
• Working hours 7am – 3.30pm plus overtime (usually till 6pm). 
• Working extended hours during harvest including weekends and evenings
• Completing intake / out loading, TASSC documentation
• Some heavy lifting and manual work
• Basic Engineering
• Health and Safety

Key Skills Required
• Very strong communication skills both verbally and written
• Qualifications in Health and Safety (IOSH) or the Ability to Achieve
• Good organisation skills
• Strong Team Player
• Computer Skills preferred but not essential as training provided
• Driving licence
