Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Grounds Person/Gardener to maintain a beautiful garden for a private estate situated on the outskirts of Ipswich.

The estate consists of 10 acres of land, which include a large lawn, organic vegetable and fruit patches and a wooded area.

You would be expected to work 3 days a week from 07:30 – 16:00 with a half hour lunch, although my client is flexible which days you work, you would always be required to work a Friday.

Job role:

• Growing organic fruit and veg from seed
• Coppicing of trees
• Cutting grass using a ride on lawn mower
• Maintenance of shrubbery and flowers
• General gardening duties
• Maintenance of the grounds

Skills Needed:

• Expertise with gardening
• Familiarity with maintenances of large areas of trees
• Past experience with growing organic fruit and vegetables
• Highly competent with general maintenance
• Hold a full UK drivers’ licence
• Must have a up to date DBS certificate
• Must be a dog lover
• Be fit and healthy
