Top Job Recruitment are currently looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work for our client in Ipswich.

Our client is a specialist school that focuses on working with Children with learning disabilities.

Job Role-

• Undertake a range of teaching and learning support activities to help promote an effective and positive learning environment.
• Track and report on the student’s progress.
• Contribute to the health and well-being of pupils.
• Support pupils to develop their numeracy and literacy skills.
• Support children 1 to 1 or in small groups (usually up to a group of 6)
• Promote pupils’ social and emotional development, including emotional wellbeing.
• Ensuring the school is a safe and secure environment for all pupils and staff.
• Contribute to the management of pupil’s behaviour and the completion of relevant records.
• Complete daily pupil records.

Requirements-

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA. (essential)
• Experience working with children with learning disabilities. (desirable)
• Driving License (desirable)
