Top Job Recruitment are looking for an experienced Home Coordinator for an established team based in Colchester.

The company are dedicated specialist care provider offering supported living for adults with learning difficulties, epilepsy, autism and other additional needs.

Job role:

  • To oversee, organise and coordinate all aspects of a dedicated home, whilst providing a safe and quality service to the Service Users 
  • Organising and managing a well balanced rota
  • Effective Medication Management
  • Fully supervise and support all staff in the designated home
  • Undertake further training and personal development as required.
  • Liaise with all departments, services, colleagues, professional bodies and service user families in order to consistently complete all duties and tasks

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of the Care industry and working in Supported Living
  • Minimum of 2 years experience of working with adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs
  • Minimum of 1 years experience as a Home Coordinator or a similar role Management level role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Engagement training.
  • Minimum of NVQ 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care or be working towards it.
  • Medication trained with a minimum of 1 years experience, including reordering, auditing and management of medication.
  • Trained in carrying out supervisions, observations and appraisals.
  • Demonstrate ability to build appropriate professional, friendly and accessible relationships with other employees, service users, seniors, professional bodies and families.
  • Ability to work flexibly (over a 40 hour week to the needs of the Service users and company.
