Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Home Manager for our client based in Weymouth.

The home is a 48 bed home specialising in general & dementia nursing, residential and respite care for the elderly.

As the Home Manager you will ensure our residents receive a high quality of individual service and care that meets our expectations and exceeds those of our external regulators. You will be closely supported by a Clinical Deputy who will take responsibility for the clinical leadership of the home.
 

Job Requirements

  • The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide an excellent service of person centred care,
  • Qualified nurse – RGN/RMN with NMC Pin
  • Previous, relevant experience managing medium to large nursing homes with a proven track record of achievement with the CQC
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards,
  • Motivate and promote good working ethos within the home.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home,
  • Confidence to communicate and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of colleagues, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors,
  • The ability to maintain a full staffing team,
  • Create strong links with the local community,
  • A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home,
  • Eligibility to work within the UK.
