Top Job Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a reputable family-run business for both a skilled Industrial Door Engineer and a Trainee Industrial Door Engineer. With a strong focus on teamwork and high standards, this business has built an excellent reputation over the years through repeat business and word of mouth, and they are looking for individuals to help continue this tradition.

About the Business:

This is a medium-sized, family-run company that prides itself on quality workmanship and a supportive team environment. They haven’t advertised for staff in over six years due to a consistently high volume of work, and they are now excited to add more dedicated engineers to their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of all types of industrial doors
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving technical issues
• Participating in call-outs, including evenings and weekends
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards
• For trainees: learning all aspects of industrial door installation, maintenance, and repair under the guidance of experienced engineers

Requirements:

• Full, clean driving licence
• IPAF or PASMA certification (both preferred)
• Proven experience as a full industrial door engineer (for skilled role)
• Reliable, honest, and flexible approach
• Willingness to participate in call-outs and be on-call when required
• Flexibility to work some weekends when required – over time paid
• Company vehicle provided
• Must be located in or near the Colchester area
• Trainee candidates should have a willingness to learn, a strong work ethic, and an interest in developing a career in industrial door engineering
• Salary: Minimum wage - £20.00 PH DOE

Working Hours & Benefits:

• Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Overtime available
• Weekly pay
• Competitive pay, dependent on experience and knowledge
• Permanent, full-time position
• Work location: on-site, in person
