Inventory Operative

Our client is seeking a Inventory Operative for their well-known site based in Colchester:

About the job:

• Regularly performing stock checks to ensure stock accuracy on site.
• Reporting any issues found to relevant managers
• First line investigations into any stock issues
• Ensuring that at all times general housekeeping is kept at the highest standard e.g. clean and tidy floors
• Ensuring personal targets are met as well as working as part of a team to ensure department targets are met on a daily basis
• Compliance with all H&S regulations and wearing a high-vis and protective footwear at all times
• Any other warehouse tasks as requested by Management

About you:

• Experienced in working in a warehouse environment
• Able to work accurately and efficiently with a strong quality focus
• This role may be physically demanding and involves lifting and bending 
• Will be required to work at height using steps.
• Experienced in use of computers and bar code scanner
• Self-motivated and target driven with the ability to work independently
• A team player
• A good verbal and written communicator

Hours of Work 6am-2pm Monday to Friday working a 39.5

Starting salary £9.50phr
