Job Title: Inventory Operative

Location: Colchester Severals Industrial Estate

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours: 6am-2pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: 10:45phr

We are currently recruiting for an Inventory Operative on behalf of our client, a leading company in the sports suppliment sector, located in the Colchester  Severalls Industrial Estate. This is a temporary to permanent position with working hours from 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities:

Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy and availability of inventory

Report any stock issues or discrepancies to the relevant managers promptly

Investigate and resolve stock issues as the first line of response

Maintain high standards of general housekeeping, including cleanliness and tidiness of floors and work areas

Collaborate with the team to meet personal and departmental targets on a daily basis

Comply with all health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate protective gear

Perform additional warehouse tasks as required by the client's management team

Utilize computer systems and barcode scanners for inventory management

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience working in a warehouse environment

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency

Physical fitness and ability to handle lifting and bending tasks

Willingness to work at heights using steps or ladders, if required

Familiarity with computers and experience using barcode scanners.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Excellent teamwork skills and effective verbal and written communication

Additional Requirements:

Immediate availability to start work for the right candidate.

Safety boots are required for this role.
