Top Job Recruitment are working with one the leading providers of rental accommodation in the Colchester area and they are looking for an Lettinga Bookerkeeper to report to The Lettings Director, this could either be a part-time or full time role, this is a fast pace role and one that requires a high level of communication skills

If you are a confident and capable person and want to assist in driving the business forward, whilst maintaining compliant standards then this could be the role for you.

Job Role:

  • Daily payments to landlords
  • Initial ‘move in’ statements to Landlords
  • Liaising with Landlords and tenants with regard to rental payments and deposits
  • Reconciling bank, cash and credit card accounts
  • Maintain debtor and creditor ledgers
  • VAT returns, submitting and reconciling
  • Reconciliation of trial balances at year end
  • Completing all financial deadlines for Companies House and HMRC
  • Posting of invoices raised and rents received
  • Reconciling client deposits
  • Chasing rental arrears
  • Monthly preparation of income and expense figures
  • General office duties

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum two years experience in accounts within the lettings industry
  • Ideally knowledge of Jupix software
  • Knowledge of Xero
  • Knowledge of Sage
