£24,000 - £28,000 plus profit share scheme

Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Live Entertainment Manager with a Leisure company that own several independent well-known bars and venues in Colchester and Ipswich. The company have grown and developed from owning a small bar in the 1990s to running one of Colchester best voted pub also opening the same branded pub recently in Ipswich.

If you have experience with organising successful, profitable events and want to book not only live music but other events such as comedy, theatre performance or any other entertainment that would suit a busy public house venue then this could be the job for you.

Job Description:

• Booking shows with bands and agents
• Ensure smooth running of all operations during events including the bar and front of house
• Act as point of contact for artists and the public on the nights
• Ensure there is a safe environment for staff, artists and the audience
• Liaise with bar staff, front of house, sound technician and security before, during and after the event
• Be responsible for cash handling for box office, door sales, and bar sales
• Produce event costings including profit and loss
