Top Job Recruitment are looking for an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join one of Colchester’s leading Lettings Agencies.

If you are confident and capable person and have experience with management of lettings maintenance department, then this could be the role for you.

Job Role

· Working with the Jupix software

· Be required to organise, facilitate and record the daily maintenance issues that occur and act accordingly, often as an emergency

· Will maintain all legal and mandatory property certifications and ensure they are all up to date

· Be responsible for the continued contractor relationships and organise diaries of works on a daily basis

· This role is demanding and requires exceptional organisation skills and the ability to make decisions that are favorable to our client, the landlord and the tenant, whilst recognising the process has a financial benefit to the company

· Full comprehensive training will be provided on the computer software and processes

Take control of day to day running and responsibilities for your own maintenance portfolio to include:

· Reporting to landlords, inspection reports

· Reporting to landlords’ maintenance issues

· Arranging maintenance issues with our panel of contractors, communicating with tenants on updates

· Invoice processing

· Arrears chasing

· Checkouts / preparation of properties for new move ins

Experience Needed

· Must be able to work on their own initiative with working as part of a small team

· Have a thorough understanding of the property market

· Work independently within a busy workplace

· High level of communication skills

· A calm approach to what can be frustrating situations

· Previous Property Management experience is essential

Your hours of work will be Monday to Friday 08:30am – 6pm and every other Saturday 8.30am – 4pm with a day of in the week on those weeks.

Salary: From 24k depending on experience
