Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Manufacturing/Production Team Leader for a modern manufacturing facility that aims to create a friendly but efficient work ethic.

This position would suit you if you are a Production Team Leader from an Assembly background and looking for a day-based role

Job Role:

  • To oversee/instruct the sub-assembly and assembly processes in the Assembly Shop.
  • Work in accordance to production deadlines.
  • To allocate work amongst the team.
  • Be pro-actively working to address manufacturing issues and improve processes where possible.
  • To ensure the smooth running of the Assembly shops.
  • To read engineering drawings and build standard and non-standard products to the highest quality.
  • To ensure assembled products are tested correctly to the agreed specifications.
  • To strip products in preparation for refurbishment or repair.
  •  Supervising the Assembly shops and the associated workforce
  • Assemble products following technical drawings or agreed processed
  • Check assembled products using measuring instruments and gauges
  • Liaise with Machine shop and Painting to ensure a smooth-running production process whilst maximising workflow efficiency and achieving expected quality standards
  • Assist with inspection when required
  • Organise tools and equipment in the assembly and test area
  • Help in stores to prepare and pack goods for despatch
  • Ability to test completed products
  • Health and safety compliance

Experience needed:

  • Experience of electrics or pneumatics.
  • Good communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Quality checking is essential
  • Production team leading experience
  • From an assembly background
