Top Job Recruitment are looking for a New Business developer for a Fuel company based in Kelvedon, Essex.

Our client is a leading independent fuel supplier for homes and businesses, specialising in the quality delivery of quality products, with quality service.

As a New Business developer you will have previous experience in their industry and an existing portfolio of clients, if you do not have industry experience you will have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn in this fast-paced friendly office environment.

New Business developer Job Role

· To manage and develop new business for the commercial and domestic departments and all other fuel related products.

· Research and target dedicated commercial prospect lists, cold calling to generate leads

· Conduct credit checks using internal systems.

· Email potential customers with introduction letter/proposals, account application packs, terms & conditions, prices, and any other information required to complete application process.

· Up sell all other products and companies within the business.

· Request up to date financial accounts as required for the credit department.

· Account manage all new customers to ensure volume and margin is maintained.

· Input and update all relevant data onto the company bespoke computer systems.

· Produce weekly and monthly target progress reports.

· Work alongside Marketing to design campaigns to send out to current database and potential new business.

· Advertising - Contact local publications and collate rates, circulation stats and publication dates. Produce copy for publications by deadlines. To promote the brands of the business.

· Assist the sales team with quoting current customers and entering orders into the bespoke database.

· Any other duties requested by Senior Management the board of directors.

· Assisting with scheduling of deliveries.

New Business developer Skills Required

· Excellent communication skills

· Good IT skills

· Good attention to detail

· A polite and friendly manner

· Owing to the location of the office, your own transport is essential.
