Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Night Warehouse Forklift Operative for a manufacturing company based in Halstead

If you hold a Counterbalance and Reach Forklift license, then this could be ideal for you.

Job Role

• Provide support to the Section Leader
• Completing the work required for the shift and assisting in shift changeovers.
• Working overtime as requested for company needs.
• Have a general knowledge of what is required from each position and procedural awareness.
• Participating in all work positions within your area.
• To make sure all tasks and jobs are completed by the end of the shift.
• All deliveries in/out are communicated to the section leader/ Shift Manager.
• To ensure that machinery/ forklift truck vehicles are maintained correctly and any damage reported to the section leader/ Shift Manager.
• Adhere to safety regulations.
• Assisting in the maintaining of GMP practices.
• To make sure the quality of the product is always at its highest standards.
• Adhere to all QA/Technical policies and procedures.
• Data entry
• Pallet Wrapping
• Stacking pallets
• Managing stock, stock movement and stock takes
• Loading lorries
• Completing paperwork and filing
• Transporting pallets between warehouses and production areas
• Communicating with drivers and departments

Experience Needed

Must have a full driving license

• Hold a counterbalance and reach truck license.
• 5 years experience of forklift license
• Computer literate
• Excellent numeracy skills
• Physically fit
• Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
• Must have attention to detail
• Must be able to work as a team, and upon own initiative.
