Job description

Early Years Practitioner

Our client is a  103-place day nursery open from 8am to 6pm all year round. We have three individual units for our different age groups and are set within large grounds and gardens.

Early Years Practitioner day to day duties include:

  • key person for a group of children
  • observe and plan activities for children.
  • Track and monitor children's development.
  • Supporting the running of the room.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with parent/carers.

Early Years Practitioner Requirements

  • NVQ 2 or 3 or higher in Early years
  • Paediatric first aid (preferred)
  • Role is subject to DBS checks and safe recruitment procedures.

What we are looking for in the Early Years Practitioner:

A fantastic, enthusiastic practitioner, who has a genuine interest in helping children and babies develop and learn; whilst ensuring they are loved and nurtured in a caring environment.
