Top Job Recruitment are looking for a Permanent Nursery Practitioner close to Colchester Town Centre for a well-known Kindergarten.

The successful applicant will have experience working with children as a Nursery Practitioner and will ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or be willing to work towards these qualifications.

Job Description

• This is a full-time role, meaning 40 hours per week and hours between 07:30 am to 18:00 pm.
• Building relationships with parents and other carers to facilitate the daily learning and care of children.
• Working as part of a team in order to provide an enabling Nursery environment.
• The kindergarten has its own enclosed outdoor multi-sensory play area.
• The children also have access to the dance studio, school hall, and playing fields.
• Keeping children safe and promoting their wellbeing.
• To set up and serve snacks and lunch to a group of children, and clear away afterwards.
• To work closely with parents, meeting on a regular basis to keep them informed of their child's developments.
• Working as part of a team and acting as a key worker in the Nursery.  

Requirements:

• Hold an NVQ in Childcare Level 2 or Level 3 (or willing to work towards this)
• Hold previous experience working with children in a Nursery setting or Kindergarten
• Be able to commute to near Colchester Town.
• A friendly and enthusiastic individual.
