Top Job Recruitment are looking for an Office Manager for a small office within a family run business based in Colchester.

The ideal candidate must have experience with bookkeeping and enjoy being part of a team, with the requirements to assist other areas of the business when required. This role gives an individual the opportunity to be part of a close team that value one another and see themselves flourish within an established successful company.

  • Hours – 8 am to 5 pm Full Time Monday to Friday (flexible)
  • The salary is 26k to £30k depending on experience
  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Government Pension Scheme

Key Duties include:

  • Daily Banking
  • Answering the phone regularly
  • Raising of invoices and distributing to clients
  • Enquiries from new and existing clients via email and telephone
  • Handling Inbound and outbound calls
  • Working closely with the production manager to ensure high quality of care to clients
  • Responsible for managing holiday amongst team members
  • Effectively dealing with any issues that arise within the warehouse
  • Purchase Ledger entry of invoices and payments’
  • Being part of a team and assisting with other areas of the company when needed

Essential Requirements:

  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 software
  • Administrative or office background
  • Knowledge of creating spreadsheets via excel
