Job Title: Legal Administrator / Paralegal (£23,000 - £28,000 k)

Location: Westerham ( TN16)

Job position :- Full time

9 am – 4 pm

Monday – Friday

We are currently seeking a Legal Administrator to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and organized Legal Administrator to support the smooth operation of our legal office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in administrative tasks, helping ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.

Coordinate and organize meetings, hearings, and court appearances for attorneys and clients.

Maintain and update legal files and documents, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible.

Assist in drafting and formatting legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court filings.

Handle client inquiries, follow up on case status, and maintain client communication records.

Assist in legal research, including case law, statutes, and regulations.

Manage billing and invoicing processes, tracking time entries and expenses.

Oversee office supplies, equipment, and maintenance to ensure a well-functioning workspace.

Help maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive legal information.

Collaborate with other administrative staff and legal professionals to support the overall operation of the firm.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in legal administration or a similar role within a law firm or legal department.

Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office suite.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and document management.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with billing software and legal management systems is a plus.
