Position Summary

The Factory Worker / Picker & Packer supports the day-to-day operation of a busy factory environment, ensuring food products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch. The role requires a reliable and hardworking individual with good attention to detail who can work efficiently as part of a team while following food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Picking & Packing

• Accurately pick and pack food products.
• Prepare orders for dispatch.
• Sort and organise stock.
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.

Teamwork & Time Management

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow instructions and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Support the wider factory team with general duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

• Previous factory, picking, or packing experience is essential.
• Experience within a food or warehouse environment is beneficial.

Requirements:

• Driving licence is essential.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
