Top Job Recruitment is seeking Production & Packing Operatives for our client based in Clacton-On-Sea 

Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for all aspect of picking and weighing out raw materials, blending and packing of products, completing all relevant paperwork and CCP records, carrying out all other related preparation, production and cleaning tasks as required.

Main Duties

• Picking and weighing raw materials accurately
• Blending products in the ribbon and cone blenders in accordance with the work instructions
• Packing and weighing blended products in various packaging formats
• Counting, checking and applying labels to various packaging
• Use of the Hot Sauce Kettle
• Filling glass jars and plastic tubs with hot liquids
• Completion of all production paperwork
• Performing and recording all relevant CCPs
• Complying with Company hygiene policies and procedures when undertaking operations while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene
• Demonstrating the competent application of good manufacturing practices required to consistently operate to high standards of food quality and food safety
• Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties as directed
• Operating machinery and equipment as required
• Working in a safe manner with due consideration for personal Health & Safety and that of co-workers at all times
• Functioning to the best of your ability within the production team, treating other members of staff with dignity and respect
• Manual handling from 1kg to 25kg
• Please note that this job involves being in close proximity to spices and liquids which can cause irritation.  PPE will be supplied.

• To supply own safety footwear

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm
