Top Job Recruitment is recruiting Production Operatives for our client based in Basildon 

The Role includes:

• Moving and loading timber beams
• Operating wood cutting machines
• Assembling and manufacturing roof trusses and floor joists
• Carrying out quality checks
• Manual handling
• Take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and of others who
• Follow correct work procedures and safety precautions at all times
• Ensure H&S standards are maintained and recorded through daily checks
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy in line with Company health and safety procedures
• Any other duties deemed as reasonable within the scope of the role.

Desirable Skills:

• Good understanding of current Health & Safety legislation
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines maintaining the quality of end product
• Ability to work as part of a team to achieve required results
• Ability to work from detailed technical drawings
• Demonstrates a positive attitude

Hours of work Monday - Friday 7 am-3:30 pm 

This is a Temporary to Permanent position 

• £8.50 per hour ( after 3 months a commission structure will be introduced which will depend on the workload but can average £500/£600 per month on top of your salary 

Due to location, you will require your own transport.
