We are seeking experienced applicants for the position of residential Project Manager/ Project Superintendent to work in Grand Cayman!

Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will manage the project from bid preparation and design phase to completion, commissioning, and handover. Goals are to achieve project completion to the schedule, thus on-time, and under budget to the highest standard while maintaining safety standards. Strong communication with all involved in the project is essential.

Main duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:
• Overseeing all elements of the project.
• Maintaining direct contact with clients, vendors, subcontractors/trades.
• Understanding and managing all aspects of a project budget, pay applications, and project cash-flow.
• Developing overall project schedules and overseeing the maintenance, progress, and issuance of schedule to ensure completion on-time.
• Understanding fully the project scope and dealing with the owner on all scope issues.
• Understanding and administering Contractual Agreements and ensuring the company conforms to the contracted documents as well as company core values.
• Addresses all relevant issues with the appropriate correspondence in a professional manner.
• Ensures the project is executed in a safe manner following the company safety policy.
• Ensures the appropriate level of quality assurance is applied to the project with the appropriate resources.

Requirements, Qualifications, Abilities & Experience include the following:
• Professional certification in Project Management through a bachelor’s degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering or Technologist/Technician Diploma.
• 5 to 10 years of direct Construction industry experience including estimating, scheduling, and project execution.
• 5 to 10 years’ experience as a Superintendent, Manager or Project Coordinator.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects of varying scope and complexity.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must have strong technical, managerial, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Demonstrate competency of Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera, Buildertrend etc.)
• Possesses solid negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Salary

Starting salary from £75,000/ CI$85,000 per annum (Tax free), commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
